That is why even before Sara Lou started to think about retirement, she thought first about who would take her place. Sara Lou wanted to know that her clients would be well taken care of, as Custom Design Hair was started with keeping clients' needs top of mind. We continue to place our clients' needs as our top priority. We want you to have the best hair possible. That is why we hope that you have barely noticed the changes that have occurred in the past year, as we are excited to announce the new ownership by Amanda Inman of Custom Design Hair.
These past three years have been difficult in many ways. As normal has been flipped upside down and turned around. It has been difficult to find hair, difficult to get in for appointments amid shutdowns, as well as the precautions we have all had to take to simply stay safe. This is yet another reason we hope the transition of ownership has been seamless for our clients.
Sara Lou and Amanda have worked together in the years prior to and in the beginning of Custom Design Hair and are thrilled about the new adventure. “We know it will be good, because of our relationship, there’s likely no two people who work so much alike.” Says Sara Lou. Amanda says, “I believe in the business Sara Lou started and I hope I can continue to bring people great hair and great service.” Sara Lou trained Amanda straight out of cosmetology school. Amanda went to work with Sara in downtown Rogers at that time. They have been on lots of training and adventures together over the past 23 years. Amanda has grown in her cosmetology career as well as her knowledge of Business Management and ownership in that time. Having owned a salon, herself and continuing her education at NWACC in business. “Once again Sara Lou has taught me a new skill. Learning hair replacement has revived a fire in me to help people with hair loss. I have enjoyed my career in the past. As we grow, we realize there is always more to learn. I am a person who desires learning new things. This move has been the revitalization of my beauty career. I am thankful that Sara Lou saw in me the ability, skill, and desire to continue her business of bringing wonderful hair to beautiful people and trusts me to do so, it is an honor!”
